College Hockey Preview It's Showcase Time

Two of the teams are in the top 2in the country, Michigan being ranked #1 and Wisconsin being ranked #2 who will play on Saturday night after #1 Michigan plays Minnesota, and #2 Wisconsin plays Michigan State on Friday night.
While Michigan and Wisconsin are ranked in the top 2, and Minnesota looks like a team on the rise, the Michigan State Spartans have been struggling. The Spartans have not won a game in the last 6 games going 0-4-2 on their 6 game winless streak.
Can the Spartans end their winless streak? Will Michigan and Wisconsin dominate play Friday before their showdown on Saturday? Will Minnesota continue its rise up the rankings? Tune into the weekly report for all results.
In other College Hockey action this weekend:
Colorado College and Denver head East to face Boston University and UMASS-Amherst in a WCHA-Hockey East showdown.
RPI will host their annual Hockey Tournament facing Holy Cross on Friday. Providence and Nebraska-Omaha will play in the first game.
And their are a bunch of other non-conference games this weekend including Western Michigan against Colgate, and Niagara and Cornell.
