59 Teams in 59 Days Brown

The 59 Teams in 59 Days tour continues with a trip to Providence, Rhode Island, as our first Ivy league and ECACHL team is featured in the Brown Bears.

If people thought last year couldn't get any worse for Brown, this year looks like a disaster already. Head Coach Roger Grillo and the club were shocked when goaltender Adam D'Alba decided to hang his skates up.

The good news out of all of this, the Bears leading scorer Jeff Prough returns. The bad news, he was the only scorer who had double digits in goals. In fact he scored 17 of the Bears 69 goals that the Bears scored all year.

Brown will have a lot of obstacles ahead of them this year. Eight Seniors are gone from last years team, and their is a question mark about the goaltending situation. How will Brown react to this?

The ceiling for Brown is 10th in the ECACHL, the gutter is 12th.

Tommorrow the Canisius Golden Griffins of the Atlantic Hockey League will be featured in the 59 Teams in 59 Days tour.
