Now here is my top five for the Hobey Baker award

#1 Matt Carle- Denver: The best offensive forward in the nation, and don't forget he plays defense too. Look for the stats to go up during the WCHA and NCAA tournaments.

#2 Ryan Poltuny- Minnesota: Scored the most goals during the regular season with 31 and helped the Gophers bounce back from their early season slump to win the WCHA regular season title.

#3 Brian Elliott- Wisconsin: If it wasant for his injury which sidelined him for 6 weeks than he would've been the favorite for the Hobey. With Elliott back the Badgers will make a run for the National Championship.

#4 Chris Collins- Boston College: This Senior led Hockey East in goals scored and points. If it wasant for a slump in the last 10 games then he might of been up higher up in the Hobey Rankings.

#5 Scott Parse- Nebraska-Omaha: He led the nation in points and has helped improve the team into an NCAA team. The Mavericks could be a sleeper team in the tournaments (CCHA connference tournament as well).

Well there you have it the All-Americans. The stats are year to date not final. Next week I am off for spring break but I will return after selection Sunday to pick the real brackets. Until then good luck to all the teams in their respective conference tournaments.
