Winners and Losers
Here are the winners and losers of this weeks NHL
Winners: Ottawa Seanators (Still the only undefeated team in the league)
Wins against Toronto 6-5 (OT) Montreal 4-2 and last night against
Boston 5-1.
Boston Bruins went 2-1 this week on their road trip with victories over the
defending Stanley Cup Champion Tampa Bay Lightning and the Florida Panthers.
Detroit Red Wings went 2-0 on their road trip with victories over the Los Angeles
Kings and the Phoenix Coyotes.
Losers: Calgary Flames only 1 win this week against their arch rival Edmonton Oilers.
And their record stands at 2-3-1-0. For a team who was favorite to win the West
that is not a good start to the season.
Phoenix Coyotes went winless this week going 0-2-1-0 gaining only 1 point. This is
still a young team under coach Wayne Gretzky.
Pittsburgh Penguins still winless but at least Sidney Crosby is scoring. 0-1-2-0 this
week. On the year Pittsburgh has lost a total of 4 games in overtime. Not a good way
to start off the year.
